Once again, RunTex, the runners store, is sponsoring the RunTex
Distance Challenge, a group of seven Austin area races which lead up to and include the
Motorola Austin Marathon. The Challenge: to complete all races! Runners who enter and
complete all races within the RunTex Distance Challenge will be awarded a special gift,
provided by RunTex. And . . . again this year: all runners who are registered in the
RunTex Distance Challenge, and complete each individual race, will be eligible for a
special random drawing for a pair of running shoes from RunTex, one week after each of the
RunTex Distance Challenge races. And . . . everyone completing the RunTex Distance
Challenge will be eligible for a grand prize drawing - an entire running outfit –
from Run-Tex.
To complete the Challenge, All races MUST be entered, paid for,
and completed by ALL participants,INCLUDING THOSE WHO REGISTER LATE (and pay the late
fee).
