Question: Hi I was just wondering how long is the ladybird trail if you are starting from the water station and go across the pedestrian bridge, then end up back at the water station. Also I am training for the cap. 10k I was wondering how long I needed to train for that. I have been training about 3 miles a day 6 days a week.
Answer: If you are describing the water station at MoPac, then I'd say about three miles. As for training for the Cap 10, if you are running three miles a day, six days a week, that's a nice start. I'd alter that, though, by maybe skipping one of those days, and adding a 6-7 miler the next day. The longer run will help your endurance, and give you more confidence come races day, especially if you are trying for a specific time.
