Question:I began running about six months ago, using Nike Max Air shoes. When I went in to RunTex for new shoes, the employee said that I needed a stabilizing shoe. I selected Mizuno Wave Alchemy shoes, which had a lot of support in the arch (felt great in the store!). After running 4 miles in the new shoes, both ankles hurt enough where I couldn't run for several days. Did I pick a shoe with too much support in the arches? I've never experienced this pain before.
